Opportunity Knocks is pleased to be working with Nicolette Rijks L.L.M Nicolette graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a specilaization in Dutch Civil Law.
Nicolette offers the following services:
- Complete legal advice relating to procedural and administrative issues for lawful immigration status, including guidance in the legalization of documents
- Development of strategies to determine the most appropriate application procedure
- Troubleshooting and filing complete applications with the Dutch authorities
- Scheduling appointments to retrieve permits
- Assistance with registration at the Municipal Registrar and application for a tax and national insurance number
Mainly the following applications to Holland are dealt with:
- The application for an employment based work permit for salaried employees, apprentices and/or trainees
- The application for a temporary entrance clearance visa (MVV), required prior to application for a temporary residence permit. Most foreign nationals are required to obtain a MVV before entering the Netherlands
The Highly Skilled Migrant
If a foreign employee is qualified for the accelerated process for Highly Skilled Migrants, his/her employer should first be registered with the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) in the Netherlands
Opportunity Knocks along with Nicolette Rijks has the resources to assist with the registration of both Dutch companies and Dutch branches of foreign companies and multinationals. Once registered with the IND, employees meeting minimum salary requirements may be relocated with their families to the Netherlands through an accelerated process.
Who may benefit from the Highly Skilled Migrant application process
