Marriage Visa

Opportunity Knocks has been providing Marriage Immigration services since 2003.

A UK Marriage Visa or Spouse Visa enables your husband, wife or civil partner to apply to join or remain in the UK provided they are married to a person who is present and settled in UK. Both partners in the marriage need to be 21 before a marriage visa can be issued. Applicants under this visa must apply for entry clearance before travelling to the UK.

Marriage visas are generally issued for an initial period of 2 years, after this time, applicants may apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) otherwise known as residency in the UK.
